Terms & Conditions for Golf Societies/Corporate Groups
All golfing events are booked on the basis of the following terms and conditions:
Provisional bookings will be held for a maximum of 14 days, after which time Reigate Hill reserves the right to request confirmation with a deposit, completed terms and conditions or release of the booking.
"‹In order to qualify for a society there must be a minimum of 8 golfers'.
A deposit of £100.00 or 20% (whichever is the greater) of the estimated final invoice is required in order to confirm a booking.
Final payment for all societies is due at the Golf Shop before golfing commences, if payment is not received, Reigate Hill Golf Club reserves the right to refuse access to the course.
An increase in numbers comes with no guarantee of tee-time availability. Please inform us as soon as possible to make changes.
Cancellation of a confirmed booking: (fees based upon numbers signed for on the on the booking form)
Between 2 months and 1 month prior to the event date from the time of confirmed booking: 50% of the final projected invoice value.
Between 1 month and 2 weeks prior to the event date from the time of confirmed booking: 75% of the final projected invoice value.
Inside of 2 weeks prior to the event date from the time of confirmed booking: 100% of the final projected invoice value.
Cancellation of any confirmed booking must be made to Reigate Hill in writing with the deposit remaining non-refundable despite length of notice.
Buggies and pull trolleys can be booked in advance with full payment. Cancellations within 24hrs will be subject to the full charge. We can only offer out a maximum of 8 buggies at any one time.
Final attendee numbers must be received at least 72 hours in advance of all golf societies; if your numbers fall by 4 or more after this point you will be charged for the total costs of the day including catering and green fees.
Large Group Bookings
Once a booking for 40 and over people has been confirmed, those initial numbers of attendees is the base for all future charges.
Within 7 days of the booking, if numbers are reduced by 25% or more from the original booking numbers, then the client is obligated to pay 75% of the green fees as a minimum.
Dependant on the meal chosen, payment for catering is at Reigate Hill's full discretion.
Hospitality regulations:
The client shall be responsible for any damage caused to the allocated rooms, equipment and/or furnishings and shall pay to make good or replace anything damaged by themselves or their guests.
Reigate Hill reserves the right to change the client's assigned function room (provided one is booked) for one of equal suitability and all menus are subject to change.
Reigate Hill reserves the right to judge acceptable levels of noise or behaviour of all clients and retains the right to terminate the contract without being liable to any refund or compensation of guests.
No self-supplied food or beverages are permitted on the premises.
All reserved meal times are pre-booked and should be adhered to in order to avoid delays.
Dress code:
Reigate Hill has a smart casual dress code. Anyone not suitably attired will be refused admittance to the Reigate Hill facilities.
Golfers' are permitted to abide by the golf course dress code at all times.
The Golf Course:
Play will be from the yellow tee markers unless otherwise agreed with club management.
Texas Scrambles and Shotgun Starts are not permitted unless by prior agreement.
All reserved tee times are pre-booked and should be adhered to in order to avoid delays.
The club requests that players should adhere to a maximum 4-hour round. Reigate Hill reserves the right for course marshals to request that faster play be achieved or in extreme cases removal from the golf course in which case no refund will be given.
Reigate Hill reserves the right to refuse, cancel or change any event that could potentially cause damage to premises or any other aspect of Reigate Hill Golf Club.
Mobile phones:
The use of mobile phones is NOT permitted in the Golfer's Lounge and bar areas and should be kept on silent elsewhere; including on the golf course.
General:
Reigate Hill cannot offer any price reductions or refunds for inclement weather causing incomplete golf activities on the day, however, if inclement weather causes the closure of the course prior or on the day, then a full refund shall be given or an alternative date offered.
Every effort will be made to make the Golf Course playable on the day but in the event of course closure in advance, Reigate Hill will endeavour to find an alternative suitable date.
Reigate Hill does not accept liability for damage or loss of any goods, or equipment held on behalf of the client, before, during or after the event.
