Junior Golf at Reigate Hill; See What We Offer

RHGC proudly boasts a strong junior membership section, both in numbers of players and ranges of ability, further information on junior membership can be found here.

Run separately, our programme for beginners and young players - JOLF - is an innovative programme designed specifically for children from 5 to 12 years old.

What makes JOLF unique....

• With JOLF, children will develop the MINDSET, MOVEMENT SKILLS, GOLF SKILLS and PASSION that are essential for them to become great learners who love playing golf and who strive to be the very best they can be.
• JOLF sessions are led by our expert coach Matt Antell, who specialises in coaching young players and is dedicated and committed to providing the best possible experience for your children.

Mindset

JOLF will give children opportunities and support to develop skills of reflection, evaluation and planning and also social skills such as sharing and helping others. Our Mindset coaching will underpin children's golfing progress and also enhance their ongoing personal development and future lives as adults.

Movement

JOLF's enjoyable activities will develop the fundamental movement and sports skills which enable children to produce the complex body movements required in golf and other sports - training them to move confidently and effectively in a wide range of sporting activities.

Golf Skills

JOLF introduces golf skills to children in the enjoyable context of games and challenges Tasks are structured in a way to give the coach the opportunity to teach the relevant skills and techniques at the right moment for each individual child.

The Junior Golf Programme

JOLF operates throughout the summer (BST April-October) on Saturday afternoons at 1500. JOLFers register for 8 sessions in advance at a cost of £80.00 - which includes a JOLF Cap, JOLF Journal and additional resources
